Carnaval Miami is coming back in 2022!  

Our epic line-up of Carnaval Miami events celebrates our Latin music, culture, and traditions. This series of events take place between late February and March and help fund the Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation community initiatives to improve the lives of children in South Florida.

Here’s a quick preview of our famous community events organized by the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana 

Miss Carnaval Miami

This pageant kicks off the Carnaval Miami events! Young ladies compete to become the brand ambassador of Carnaval Miami, Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation, and participating sponsors. The winner will receive a college scholarship, paid entry to Miss Florida USA and great gifts.

Carnaval on the Mile

Our weekend-long festival in the heart of Coral Gables features live music, arts, fine cuisine and so much more. Enjoy jazz, funk, and rock music from world-renowned performers, browse arts and artisanal crafts from talented local artists and take in all the sights, sounds, and rich cultural experiences this unique event has to offer. This event is free to the public, so bring your whole family! 

Cork & Fork

Cork & Fork food and wine festival is a VIP event taking place during Carnaval on the Mile. This ticketed event features the hottest chefs, restaurants, and international wines combined in one pavilion. Enjoy two days of unrivaled culinary tastings, intimate cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, and mixology experiences. 

Cordials & Candy

Carnaval on the Mile VIP afterparty is a festival for the senses! Sip fine cordials and aromatic coffees and feast on decadent desserts. Cordials & Candy is an exclusive ticketed event where you can hang out with friends, indulge your tastebuds, and even enjoy a fine cigar.  

Domino Tournament

This classic Little Havana pastime welcomes the spirit of competition at the Carnaval Miami Domino Tournament. Domino lovers from around the country can enter individually or as a team. The tournament ends with an awards ceremony and feast of Latin food, of course.  

Golf Classic

Our annual “Putting for Education” Golf Classic to benefit the Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation brings together 144 affluent business leaders and executives for some friendly competition. All proceeds benefit four-year college scholarships awarded every year to undergraduate students that otherwise would not have the opportunity of a higher education. 

Soccer 5v5

The Carnaval Miami Soccer 5v5 Challenge provides a day of fun and healthy activities for the whole family.  More than 4,000 attendees comprise 100 teams, ages U8 to U19, participating for trophies and glory as Carnaval Miami 5v5 Tournament winners! 

Calle Ocho Festival

We’ve saved the best for last! Our month of Carnaval Miami festivities culminates with the world-famous Calle Ocho music festival. This signature event has become the largest Latin music festival in the nation, featuring multiple musical stages, international food, sampling sites, folkloric dances, and entertainment from all over Latin American and the Caribbean. Through the years, Calle Ocho has been the platform for the biggest musicians in the Hispanic market such as Pitbull, Nicky Jam, and Maluma who made their artistic debut at Calle Ocho
